333 2021 from Aleksandar Todorović Winery is a beautifully balanced introduction to the world of orange wine. Made in Tri Morave, Serbia, this light to medium-bodied skin-contact blend combines equal parts Grašac (Welschriesling), Župljanka, and Sauvignon Blanc for a wine that is fresh, herbal, and gently textured rather than heavy or overly funky.

Deep golden-amber in the glass, it opens with aromas of stone fruit, dried citrus peel, wild herbs, and delicate floral notes. The palate is bright and refreshing, with gentle tannins, subtle stone fruit, and a savory, mineral-driven finish.

The grapes come from certified organic vineyards planted on red clay and limestone soils. After hand harvesting, the grapes spend four days on their skins, followed by spontaneous fermentation in open-top vats with no temperature control. The wine is then aged for 18 months in Serbian oak, mostly used, with Župljanka aged in acacia barrels. Bottled unfined, unfiltered, and with minimal added sulfites, it retains its natural character and freshness.

Bring It to the Table

Its combination of freshness, gentle tannin, and savory minerality makes it especially versatile:

  • 🔥 Pljeskavica, Ćevapi
