Christina Orange
Christina Orange 2024 is a medium-bodied orange wine from Carnuntum, Austria, made from Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, and Welschriesling. Bright and juicy rather than heavy or funky, it combines fresh citrus and yellow fruit with gentle tannins, lively acidity, and a subtle savory character.
The nose shows tangerine, pomelo, lemon peel, exotic yellow fruit, herbs, and subtle earthy notes. On the palate, it’s vibrant and textured, with citrus and yellow fruit balanced by fresh acidity and gentle tannins. The finish is clean and refreshing, with lingering citrus and stone fruit.
The grapes are hand-harvested and spontaneously fermented with native yeasts, with approximately three weeks of skin contact. The wine is then aged on the lees in old vats, amphora, and stainless steel before being bottled unfined, unfiltered, and with no added sulfites.
