Doodle Rosé 2023

$22.00

Doodle Rosé 2023 from Aleksandar Todorović Winery is a deeply colored, dry rosé from Tri Morave, Serbia, made from 60% Prokupac and 40% Merlot. With its deep salmon color and light body, it drinks more like a bridge between rosé and a chillable red—dry, textured, savory, and full of character.

The nose is vibrant and intriguing, combining salted grapefruit, ripe strawberry, wild herbs, and delicate floral notes. On the palate, juicy red fruit meets citrusy bitterness, bright minerality, and refreshing acidity. There’s a subtle savory edge that makes this much more versatile at the table than a typical fruit-forward rosé.

The grapes are dry-farmed and organically cultivated, then handpicked with 90% whole-bunch direct pressing and 10% left on the skins for four months. Wild fermentation takes place in stainless steel, followed by 10 months of aging in neutral Hungarian oak. Bottled unfined and unfiltered, it retains its natural texture and personality.
