Kamara Retsina - 500ml
Kamara Retsina 2024 is a modern take on one of Greece’s most traditional wine styles, blending 50% Roditis and 50% Assyrtiko from Thessaloniki, Greece. Light to medium-bodied and refreshing, it combines bright citrus and saline freshness with the distinctive herbal, piney character of Aleppo pine resin.
The nose shows pine, lemon, citrus, mint, and jasmine. On the palate, it is fresh and elegant, with lively citrus, a subtle saline edge, and just enough pine resin to give the wine its unmistakable Retsina character. The finish is crisp, long, and refreshing.
The wine undergoes cool spontaneous fermentation in stainless steel, with Aleppo pine resin added during fermentation. It is then aged on fine lees and bottled unfined and unfiltered with minimal sulfites.
