Mario Rosé NV

$42.00

Mario Rosé NV is a beautifully fresh natural sparkling rosé from Keltis in Bizeljsko, Slovenia, made from Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. Light-bodied and very dry, it combines delicate red fruit with crisp citrus, fine bubbles, and a refreshing acidity that makes it incredibly food-friendly.

The nose is floral and expressive, showing wild strawberry, red berries, and fresh fruit. The palate is crisp and lively, with a fine mousse, delicate red fruit, and citrus balanced by bright acidity. Extended lees aging adds a subtle creamy texture without sacrificing the wine’s freshness.

The organic grapes are direct-pressed with minimal color extraction and spontaneously fermented in oak barrels. The wine then undergoes the méthode ancestrale, finishing its single fermentation in bottle. It spends six months in oak followed by an impressive 18 months on lees before being bottled unfined, unfiltered, and with no added sulfites.
