Orange Affair
Orange Affair 2024 is a medium-bodied natural orange wine from Kakheti, Georgia, made from 70% Rkatsiteli and 30% Mtsvane. Rich and structured, it combines ripe yellow fruit and dried florals with gentle acidity, tannic grip, and a subtle savory bitterness.
The nose shows yellow cherry, dried flowers, caramelized apple, apricot, citrus rind, and a light smoky note. On the palate, it’s dry and textural, with layered yellow fruit, dried florals, and herbal notes. The 12 days of skin contact give the wine noticeable tannin and a pleasant grip, while gentle acidity keeps it balanced and fresh.
The wine is fermented with minimal intervention and extended skin contact in stainless steel, allowing the indigenous Georgian grapes to show their natural character and complexity.
