OTT1L 2021 from Seewines Spirit is an expressive orange wine from Bulgaria’s Thracian Valley, made from 100% Muscat Ottonel. Golden amber in color and medium-bodied, it combines intense floral aromatics with fresh citrus, gentle tannins, and a delicate skin-contact texture.
The nose is immediately aromatic, offering floral notes, citrus, and a subtle touch of spice. On the palate, bright citrus and fragrant fruit are balanced by soft tannins and a smooth, integrated texture. There’s just enough grip to give the wine character while keeping it fresh and easy to drink.
The grapes are organically farmed and currently in conversion, then destemmed and gently crushed before spontaneous fermentation with the skins in temperature-controlled stainless steel. After fermentation, the wine spends an additional three weeks macerating on the skins, followed by six months of aging in steel. Bottled unfined, unfiltered, and with minimal added sulfites.
