Roxanich Montona 2020
Roxanich Montona 2020 is a full-bodied white from Western Istria, Croatia, made from 100% Malvasia Istriana. Rich and layered with the complexity that comes from extended aging, it combines ripe orchard fruit and floral notes with mineral depth, gentle salinity, and a savory finish.
The nose shows acacia blossom, chamomile, beeswax, dried fruit, and hints of honey. The palate is textured and mineral-driven, with pear, citrus, almond, and earthy notes balanced by fresh acidity and a subtle saline edge. The finish is long, savory, and complex.
Made with spontaneous fermentation and approximately 24 hours of skin contact, the wine is aged for around 40 months, allowing it to develop its depth and distinctive character.
