Slavček Sivi Pinot 2024 is a polished, approachable skin-contact Pinot Grigio from Slovenia’s Vipava Valley. Medium-bodied and beautifully balanced, it combines ripe stone fruit and citrus with a creamy texture, gentle spice, and refreshing minerality.
The nose shows ripe peach, pear, citrus, white pepper, and white blossoms. On the palate, it’s smooth and rounded, with tropical and stone fruit layered against bright citrus and mineral freshness. The finish is crisp and refreshing, making it an easy transition for guests who are curious about orange wine but don’t want something overly funky or tannic.
The organically farmed, dry-farmed grapes are hand-harvested and given 24 hours to 5 days of skin contact, depending on the vintage. Spontaneous fermentation with native yeasts is followed by aging in old oak and acacia barrels. The wine is bottled unfiltered.
