Terra Ambera
Terra Ambera 2024 is a bold expression of 100% Muscat of Alexandria from Lemnos, Greece, where vineyards grow in the island’s distinctive volcanic soils. Medium to full-bodied, this amber wine combines the grape’s aromatic character with savory, earthy depth and a beautifully textured palate.
The nose is anything but ordinary, showing quince, lemon zest, dough, wild herbs, porcini mushroom, and subtle yeast. On the palate, an oily, structured texture carries layers of citrus and orchard fruit alongside a savory, umami character. Bright acidity keeps the wine focused through a long, dense finish.
The grapes are certified organic, dry-farmed, and hand-harvested, with five days of skin contact before spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts in stainless steel. The wine then spends around 2½ months aging on the lees before being bottled unfiltered with minimal sulfites.
