Ever wondered how those beautiful little chocolate bonbons are made? Now you can make your own!
Join our Head Chocolatier & Founder, Betty Petrova, for an intimate, hands-on chocolate workshop at our professional kitchen in East Boston. With a small group of just 6 participants, you’ll get plenty of guidance, hands-on time, and room to get creative.
Over the course of 3 hours, we’ll cover the basics of making your own batch of bonbons from start to finish. You’ll learn how to:
🍫 Temper chocolate and get that beautiful shine and snap.
🎨 Paint and decorate your chocolates using different techniques to create your own designs.
🥄 Make and choose your fillings — mix and match flavors to create your own combinations.
✨ Fill and finish your bonbons and learn the tricks behind creating those perfectly finished little chocolates.
🎁 Take home your creations to share… or, realistically, keep all to yourself!
No previous chocolate-making experience is needed. Whether you’re completely new to chocolate or already obsessed with it, Betty will guide you through each step and help you get comfortable working with chocolate.
Group size: Maximum 6 participants
Duration: ~ 3 hours
Location: Our kitchen in East Boston (277 Border street, East Boston MA 02128)
Minimum age: 14 years and up. Participants under 18 must be accompanied by a participating adult.
Parking: Free street parking available until 6pm but could be limited; We do recommend using public transportation or Ride-shared services (Uber, Lyft).
This workshop takes place inside a working professional kitchen, so there are a few safety requirements:
A head covering is required — a hat or bandana works great.
Long hair must be pulled back.
Please wear closed-toe, non-slip shoes.
You’ll need to be comfortable standing for the duration of the workshop.
Come ready to get your hands a little chocolatey, learn something new, and make some deliciously beautiful bonbons of your own. 🍫
